Sigtuna-Skokloster

Sweden's first town

Enjoy a boat trip to Sweden's first town, Sigtuna, or make a visit to Skokloster castle, one of Sweden's most beautiful. You will travel on calm waterways and the guide will tell you about the rout. Step off in Sigtuna or Skokloster.

Sigtuna

The town was founded in 980 and the rune stones, churches and ruins show a transition between the Viking and medieval ages.

With its wooden houses from 1700 -, 1800 - and 1900's Sigtuna is filled with history and is well worth a visit. Our guide will show you Sigtuna's nicest spots.

After the tour, visit Lundströmska gården dating from the 1600s, interpret the runes and visit the Viking village. For summer strollers there are plenty of cafes, galleries and shopping.

Skokloster

A guide will meet you at the pier for a guided tour of the castle. Experience the Swedish Empire on this amazing palace at lake Mälaren, the largest private palace built in Sweden. You will find unique paintings, furniture and room interiors from the 1600s.

There is a cafeteria on board.
