Djurgården is a big park not far from the city centre.
The park is former royal hunting grounds but today it is open for anyone to visit. Djurgården is a part of the Ecopark, the worlds first national city park and the shoreline makes a nice (but long) walk for those in need of some exercise. Here you´ll also find the Vasa museum, Junibacken fairy tale world, Skansen out door museum, Tivoli Gröna Lund as well as many nice restaurants and coffee shops. Djurgården is easily reached by the Djurgården ferry from Nybroplan.
