The Ribersborg Beach

The 3-km-long beach “Ribban” has shallow waters that are suitable for all the family. It is also fantastically close to the city centre, which makes it easy to take a detour for a dip during warm summer days.

Pack a picnic basket and a blanket and treat yourself to a relaxing time at Sweden’s own Copacabana.

If you feel like throwing off absolutely all of your clothes, the Ribersborg open-air swimming baths are situated on a pier not far from the Western Harbour (Västra Hamnen). The open-air swimming baths underwent extensive renovations in 2009, and since the re-opening women and men have also been able to enjoy the steam baths together.

In the swimming baths you can also find a spa, a café and a restaurant.
