Lounge

The lounges on board are in the same style as the dining rooms – lots of hardwood, brass detailing and textiles chosen specifically to blend into the authentic onboard concept.

On the M/S Diana, the lounge differs somewhat as it is built as one with the dining room, even down to the furniture.

The lounge is always open to our guests. You can settle into one of the comfortable sofas, perhaps to leaf through a book from the ship’s library, read a newspaper or play some games. The ship’s small onboard souvenir shop is here as well, stocked with postcards, souvenirs and the like.

Sometimes we set tables for lunch and dinner in the lounge for guests who want to enjoy added privacy.

The tour guide gathers everyone in the lounge for the daily information meeting. This is when the guests hear about the day’s events, about canal history and curiosities, about the stops ahead and the activities offered.
