Food on board

We are convinced that the culinary journey is as important as the geographic one.

Meals follow the same pattern as the rest of the cruise – varied and enjoyable. For many guests, just coming to an elegantly set table is a large part of the pleasure. The tastefully designed menus only add to the overall feeling. We work hard on both the presentation and the taste experience. We find something for every taste when composing the menus, offering our guests an international menu with a Swedish touch.

The ships are fully licensed and the wine list is carefully designed to suit all the various menus. In addition, our skilful dining room hosts and the rest of the crew are always on hand to help you choose or perhaps to serve you a drink before the meal.

All guests are served a welcoming cup of coffee when they arrive on board. Everyday the gong rings for two-course lunches and three-course dinners. Between meals there is afternoon coffee or tea with something special on the side, all served on deck. After dinner many of our guests choose to settle in the lounge or out on deck with a good cognac or other drink. A breakfast buffet is served in the dining room every morning. When the opportunity arises, walks along the canal’s towpaths can be a part of your morning routine.
