The Great Swedish Cruise

An opportunity to relax and travel in the style of the late 19th century.

Our deluxe cruise with a mix of international guests onboard. Unlike our classic 4-day cruises, the ship is moored every night to give our passengers a better opportunity to enjoy the passing scenery during the daylight hours in the company of other guests.

Undulating fields and groves of birch trees embrace the waterway as we travel through the shifting landscape. Regardless the season you travel, it is a wonderful experience. During shore visits and overnight stops you will have the opportunity to participate in guided tours to some of the foremost sights Sweden can offer.

All meals are included in the price and are served in the elegantly laid dining room.

Other highlights of the trip include:

  • The impressive lock staircase in Trollhättan with a total drop of 32 metres and the Canal Museum
  • Sweden’s smallest ferry, ”Lina”, in Töreboda
  • Forsvik with the oldest lock in the canal, built in 1813
  • Vadstena, home to Saint Bridget
  • Motala, the capital of the Gota Canal
  • The convent church of Vreta and the remains of Sweden's first convent
  • The Viking community of Birka, Sweden’s first town
